FAQ
Are temperatures linear too?
No. Celsius, Fahrenheit and Kelvin have different origins, so the formula is linear but with an offset. We handle it per-category — no manual thinking needed.
What's a US fl oz vs. UK fl oz?
They differ: 1 US fl oz = 29.57 ml, 1 UK fl oz = 28.41 ml. We separate them in the menu.
Currency conversion?
No. Currencies need live exchange rates — xe.com or your central bank handles that better. This tool is physical units only.
Why does it round sometimes?
Configurable: default is 4 decimals. Bump to 8 if you're doing science or engineering.
